Richard brings over 18 years of maritime experience across a diverse range of operational roles. His career includes working as crew on a survey vessel, serving as a captain on commercial passenger vessels on the River Thames, and managing as a crew and maintenance of a fleet of Commercial vessels.
Throughout these positions, Richard has been entrusted with full command of vessels and crew, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Day-to-day responsibilities have included carrying out detailed daily and weekly inspections, identifying defects, and coordinating maintenance and repair works to keep vessels operating to the highest standards.
Building on this extensive practical experience, Richard has achieved a Diploma in Marine Surveying with the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS). This combination of hands-on knowledge and formal qualification allows him to deliver thorough, reliable, and accurate marine surveys, giving clients confidence in both the condition and value of their vessels.
