A valuation boat survey is an inspection carried out to determine the fair market value of a vessel. It focuses less on detailed structural analysis and more on the boat’s overall condition, age, specification, and current market trends.

A damage boat survey is carried out to assess the extent, cause, and impact of damage to a vessel following an incident such as collision, grounding, fire, or flooding.
